Locked Out

A few days ago I went outside to feed the dog. When I went to open the door, EJ was standing on the other side of the glass...and the door was locked!! Thankfully, Hubby was home and I knocked until he came over to let me in.

Then, last night Hubby went out to feed the dog and I followed to water our plants. I didn't think anything about it, but I told EJ to stay inside because it was hot out and we weren't going to stay in yard and play.

Hubby went to go in the house, and discovered EJ had locked both of us out of the house!!!

She was just standing at the glass looking at us not having a clue what she had done. We took one look at her precious face and had to turn away so she wouldn't see us laughing! (We couldn't have her thinking this was a funny thing to do!) :)

I squatted down to her level and pointed to the lock and kept asking her to pull it down. She didn't understand and kept tapping her finger on the glass like I was doing. After a few more times of asking, she finally understood and pulled the lock down.

The culprit pictured at the scene of the crime...

We now have a back plan in place for when she locks us out again...I'm sure that wasn't the last time! :)

Oh my! I'm sorry but I was laughing too! Mainly because she didn't even know what she had done. Cute story!

Thanks for reading my blog post!!! I read this the other day, and find it hysterical!!! Nate did this to me in the car! Thankfully I had my keys with me, outside the car. This life is WILD, and I know where the wild things are... in my house! Thinking of you! First year is the hardest...
