January: EJ started 2012 as a 15 month old. I started 2012 with a few weeks left of my pregnancy. Hubby started a new work schedule which turned out to be absolutely wonderful for our family.
February: Our little AG was born on 2.2.12! At only 4 days old, AG had to go to the ER -- hands down, one of the worst days of my life. Our niece was born exactly two weeks after AG.
March: We settled in with a one month old and a 17 month old. I learned to see the joy in baby poop. It was also the month that I quit nursing AG and realized that it was OK to mommy MY way!
April: AG was baptized and EJ finally began walking on the day she turned 18 months old! We celebrate Easter, enjoyed warm weather on my parent's deck, and discovered EJ's hair was long enough for pigtails!
May: I made laundry detergent for the first time...and I still LOVE it! We celebrated Mother's Day. EJ had her first hair cut.
June: We started the month with a week at the lake with my in-laws, we were home for a week, and then we spent a week at the beach with my family.
July: My dad celebrated his birthday with his three grand-daughters. I learned I'm changing as a mommy. We dressed up like cows for free food! And EJ locked us out of the house!!
August: I finally got rid of my vertical blinds and hung up tablecloths. AG grew some teeth! My brother got engaged! Our sweet dog went to live with a new family. I found the best deal EVER at G00dwill!
September: We went to the Labor Day parade. Hubby had 10 days of a HUGE job that took a year's worth of planning! EJ was potty-trained and she turned TWO and we partied "fancy" style!!
October: We got a swingset for the backyard! The girls were sick a LOT!
November: Hubby and I celebrated 5 years of marriage! We had a great Thanksgiving. Silly EJ saw Noah.
December: Hubby and I went on a 7-day Caribbean cruise with my family. We arrived home just in time to celebrate Christmas!
We close 2012 with a soon to be 11 month old and a two year old. Oh, what fun they are!! :)

Finally, just for my memory, I wanted to make a note of all the books I read this year. Apparently, having a new baby this year didn't stop me from reading completely. Thanks to my K1ndle that I got in January, I was able to read 8 more books this year than in 2011.

Wow! What a full and blessed year. I am seriously impressed by the number of books you read, too- especially considering the little ones in the home. Maybe I should get a Kindle! Happy New Year :)
Happy 2012, friend!!
